Our main goal is to offer our customers not only a broad range of assays, but also a flexible choice of automation solutions. Therefore, this year, we have provided proofs of compatibility for a total of 89 indirect immunofluorescence tests (IIFT) with the automated EUROPattern Microscope Live. Now, our fastest microscope can be used on a product portfolio of CE-marked tests that is three times as large as before.
Alongside processing of test systems for the field of vasculitis, hepatology, gastroenterology and neurology, IIFT for diagnostics of endocrinological, nephrological and dermatological diseases can now be also performed. The IIFT are designed for monospecific and multiplex detection of autoantibodies on different tissue-, cell and antigen substrates. In addition to the extended test range for autoimmune diagnostics, the IIFT can now also be used in infection diagnostics, e.g. of respiratory, pregnancy-relevant and herpes virus infections, as well as of emerging diseases.
By this, the advantages of state-of-the-art microscopy provided bythe EUROPattern Live Microscope can be applied to many more indications. The integrated high-solution camera, combined with the automated laser-focus technology, allows for extremely fast image acquisition in only two second per image, for up to 50 reaction fields per session. The fluorescence images, including zoom function, are immediately available for evaluation on the multi-touch monitor, allowing also for convenient observation by several colleagues simultaneously. A traditional dark room is no longer required: Due to its compact design and the opaque housing, the device can be installed wherever required, independently of the lighting conditions.
The evaluation, interpretation and administration of the fluorescence data received are subsequently conveniently performed by the EUROLabOffice 4.0 software. The results are automatically stored in the patient history, so that a clear overview is promptly provided, enabling comprehensive diagnostics.
