IDS i20

NEW! IDS i20 – ChLIA automation of the next i-generation

Reliability, versatility and usability of automation solutions are crucial in diagnostic laboratories. The random access device IDS i20 joins the IDS-i10 and IDS-iSYS in the i-series and was developed to fulfil precisely these requirements for the processing of chemiluminescence immunoassays (ChLIA). This makes it possible to maximise standards even with high sample numbers, to minimise hands-on time and sources of error and to optimise workflows – above all through the simultaneous processing of ChLIAs from different diagnostic areas and the simple operation of the device and software.

Minimise Highest degree of automation in the smallest space

The IDS i20 enables time-saving ChLIA processing with minimal manual effort. The automatic start and integrated system check minimise hands-on time, while the system offers up to a whole day of walk-away time. With a footprint of less than 1 m2 and an extendable work surface, the device also fits into compact laboratory environments. Installation takes just one day and the intuitive operation also requires just one day of training, so that the system is ready for use in no time. On-board reagents remain constantly cooled at 14 °C, while precise temperature control of 37 ±1°C ensures the highest standards for ChLIA processing. Powerful high-pressure cleaning between analyses also reliably prevents contamination of sample material and ensures consistent results.

Maximise High performance & maximum flexibility

With a throughput of 140 tests per hour and the option of connecting to a laboratory line, the IDS i20 is also ideal for high-throughput laboratories. Thanks to 9 racks of 10 positions each for samples, calibrators and controls, the system enables flexible loading for a large range of requirements. The simultaneous processing of a wide range of parameters from autoimmune, infection, Alzheimer’s and allergy diagnostics as well as endocrinology and therapeutic drug monitoring also covers a broad diagnostic spectrum. In addition, with a processing time of less than 25 minutes (assay dependent) to the first test result, the IDS i20 enables fast and reliable ChLIA diagnostics.

Optimise Simple operation & optimised processes

The device’s all-in-one supervision screen provides an ideal overview of the running processes, giving optimum control over the entire analysis process. The software interface has been developed in accordance with the latest Human Factors and Usability Standards, making it extremely user-friendly and intuitive. The continuous loading of samples and reagents ensures uninterrupted operation, while the self-cleaning system reduces maintenance and ensures a high level of process reliability at all times. The random access device is designed for continuous, batch and STAT loading, allowing urgent samples to be prioritised at any time.

The bottom line: The IDS i20 is the perfect choice for laboratories looking for state-of-the-art automation solutions that offer the highest levels of quality, flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
